How to Sneak Healthier Eating into your Day
Have you heard the expression; "you are what you eat"? Some food we eat is dead food. The obvious foods are sweets, fried foods and over-cooked foods. These foods have little nutritional value and as such they do very little to restore and sustain life in our bodies. Even when we think that we are full we can find ourselves depleted of energy. The reason for this is that we need to indulge ourselves in foods that will create lasting, top-quality energy for us.
In order to accomplish goals, we need energy. Every moment that we are awake and attempting to move toward our goals, we expend energy. This energy reserve needs to be replaced using the very best fuel. One main source of energy is food. Nutritious-living foods such as fresh fruit and vegetables contain we what need in terms of vitamins, mineral, and enzymes.
Our habits can reduce our capacity to have the greatest energy possible. Whether we have adopted our diets from our families and friends or through the influence of television, we all have habits that are simply constructive or destructive. If we eat healthy foods by juicing, smoothies, or snacking on an apple instead of a chocolate bar we are putting ourselves in a position of being able to attain the results we want. We are better positioned to have the energy need to achieve our daily tasks toward our goals.
If we look at our food intake from morning to night we can see a design and pattern that supports our immune systems and energy needs or hinders it. A quick evaluation of what we eat involves writing down or logging the contents of our food consumption over a period of five days. Considering the importance of a healthy diet, spending five days logging or recording our food intake in order to strategize a more effective eating pattern, it really is not much to ask.
We want to assess in order to reflect on a new and improved strategy for a diet that restores our health for maximum energy and ultimate immunity. Once we can look at what we have been doing and we are not too hard on ourselves, we can begin to look at what can and should be changed in our diets. This eating routine of ours, needs to be at its very best.
